I am going to make a stuffed cat doll/toy thing, you should too. You have 3-4 days to do it. post your results here. any pattern is allowed/accepted, but ones from the heart are the best (aww). Questions? no? good. ready? Go!

I'm already making a stuffed dog. Sometimes he thinks he's cat. He dresses like a cat in secret and wishes he had the courage to go out in public. He posts pictures of himself in cat-wear on flickr and people tell him how well he passes for a cat, but deep down he doesn't believe them. He doesn't know it, but his father also dressed like a cat a times. It runs in the family.

my first cat is done: It sort of looks like a cross between an ewok and a squirrel, but its a cat. It didn't take nearly as long as I thought it would to make it.

Cute, though he kind of looks like an otter to me.

Mike, maybe you should change this topic to Otter Off, unless you're trying to deliberately lose the cat off by making nothing but otters.
Nice otter though.

Totally getting in on the cat/otter action. Although mine will look like a cat, theoretically. We shall see. This weekend my masterpiece will be unleashed.

don't be haters, I can tell your all jealous of my talent. He was based off of this stuffed cat that we somehow inherited from some friends of ours that is supposed to be based on their cat: and this is more or less what their cat looked like: so you can see the similarities between the two I'm sure. I have another cat in the works today maybe. My car was borrowed this morning so I won't be going anywhere so I guess here will be my only real distraction.

I like how you confuse "artsy" with "wtf".

we all have our place. If someone didn't do it, you'd never know if yours was good or not.

I'm making a cat tomorrow too.
And I don't mean I'm impregnating a cat and having a cat baby.

So Suzanne and I made our cats today. Both were made from scraps with improvised patterns and no reference material (not even our actual cats). But you'll be able to figure that out for yourself. Here's my retardo cat/dog: And here's Suzanne's cat/bunny/pokemon: What do we win?
