hey kids! I also have a blog. It's mostly nostalgic, punctuated with little bits of irritation and occasional flights of whimsy. It's alternately girly and geeky. But I'm rather proud and I think everyone should have a blog, because reading other peoples blogs makes them way more interesting to me and it makes it far easier to write when you're doing it every day. It's something you should totally think about, if you don't have a blog. Just don't put your full, real name on it. www.hogsandwich.blogspot.com

For us stupid americans, can you explain a bit about what Northbridge is, and why its not safe to go there typically?

Its like the nightclub district during the night - thus drunk douchebags staggering around and screaming at each other and breaking glass - and during the day its kindof full of crazy hobos. It's the "undesirable" part of Perth.
Unfortunately for Luke and I, it's also the theatre district, so if we want to do shows we have to spend alot of time there.

Perth began as a mining town on the edge of a desert, so the people here act like they are in the Star Wars cantina. Northbridge is a hive of scum and villainy.

The advent calendar posts are the highlight of my internet-reading-day at the moment!
Nice work on the painting Luke!

Man i have to get me one of those Lego advent calendars. I recently stopped pretending that I was buying all that Lego for my son and have happily embraced my inner child/creative mind/lack of maturity...
