Tomkatt, now that I'm finally done with the three covers I'm gonna gibe your thread a look over and start some inking. Any request? Or should I just pic whatever I like? Thanks also!! andreib, Thanks for the awesome comments. Hopefully you like the next few pieces I have just finished. I'm too lazy right now to resize the scans, so here they are from my digitol camara. I'm workin on a group shot with all three characters in one shot. Here goes. This first on is of our new puppy. Seems she likes curling up to me whenever I'm on the floor drawing!! Hop on board the lollercoaster doods! so cute. That was about a month ago now. She was only 6 weeks old there.

Seems one of the local comic shops have seen some of my artwork. They will be doing a couple raffles on Free Comic Book Day. They asked me along with some other local artists to design some sketch cards that will be raffled off throughout the day. All of the moneys rasied will go to the Scleradoma Foundation. There is a local artist that survived this disease that goes to that comic shop.
Of course I said yes!!! The cards are about the same size as a playing card. They gave me like 10 cards. I asked a few of my friends to do a couple. And now I have some ideas for mine.
Thought this was really cool and wanted to share this. I will post mine when they are done.

damn man, your stuff is sweet.
What happened to the cards you did for Free Comic Book Day? They go down well?
Do you any comics comics of your own, or do you try to go through a publisher?

Thanks Grasshopper!!
The cards went over pretty well. I will see if I can find a scan of the cards. I did a few different ones. One of the girls from the 3 covers, one with all of the different rings from the Blackest Night series, a Nighthawk. And I think a 4th one but that one eludes me. I also put up for auction a recreation I did of the Blackest Night #1 cover! Let me see if I can find all of these pics.
Sadly I haven't done anyhing of my own just yet. I have helped out people here an there with pages, but nothing souly my own. I'm in talks with a friend of my brothers to see about illustrating a few stories he has written.
Also, looks like the 3 covers I did wont make it to print...seems that project got shelved.

Okay, found some pics of the sketch cards, an the larger piece I donated too. This pic is of the larger Blackest Night piece. Funny thing is I drew this from a pic I found online. It was roughly 3x4 in size. It wasn't till I got to the comic shop I found out that this was going to be the cover to issue #1! Oh, also here is a final verson of that BL piece up above as black & white scan. Ok, this next one is of a scan I did after I penciled the cards. I guess I only did 3 cards..cuase that all I can find images of are these 3. I've also done some drawings of the Hulk for a buddy I worked with last summer. His little boy loves the Hulk. I will track them down as well. Also have a GL Tribute piece I completed too! Along with helpin out on a few prints that were exclusive to a couple shows last year. Right now I', currently working on an exclusive print to be sold at the Motor City ComicCon here in Michigan in the spring-gonna be Iron Man/War Machine themed. I will post pics just as soon as I can. I need to resize the other 2 prints I did to post here.
