This week I have to finish up our venue as we have a concert scheduled for Friday. For some ridiculous reason I decided to play in the concert as well. So I need to set the venue up and rehearse for the show. Maybe I can do both at the same time.
I'll post some pics of the venue this weekend.
I'm also looking forward to Thanksgiving and Sat/Sun to attempt to write 33,000 words for Nano. I totally lost track over everything for the past two weeks.

Our big project for the weekend just gone was phase one of operation Get Our fucking House Back in Order.
It has been a mess, with layers you can dig down and see each of the huge projects of the last month or two.
"Oh look, here's the week we were cutting out a billion pop-ups!"
"Wow, I think I just found trash from Supanova. When was that? The end of June?"
Anyway, the house is already much, much nicer, though there is still some work to do.
Other than that, I continued with my regular daily comics and I drew a logo for Shakespeare WA (though I dunno if they're using it?)
Also, Jess got a new job! At the WA Museum! (She hasn't officially been given it yet, so she hasn't been able to quit and stuff, but she was told yesterday that she was successful.)
Good times!

Holy crap, wasn't this like, THE dream job? Its a bit of a season for job shifting since I'm leaving my beloved pack of teenage boys and going to take a promotion to be at Uni of NotreDame in their medical library. I'm very excited about finally working full time, huzzah, and feel good about almost literally starting a new job in the first week of january. Its all about the fresh starts right now, change is afoot. Its a good feeling

Jessica that is very exciting to hear, congrats (and you too Suzanne)! My day has not been quite as exciting, though I did just make some killer cheesecake brownies (need to remember to let them cool all the way to be more killer before eating them), and J's Pixel Lincoln game has prompted me to pull out my notes from a game I was making a while back which I'll share once I get them into some semblance of balances and sense, which I think I'll be needing some help with, regarding both art and rules -structuring (its all in my head, now I just need to logicize them).
Oh, and I petted my cat.

I did all the heavy lifting parts of getting Heath's acting/writing/directing site up last night, and pouted when he wanted some design changes. Just because it's HIS professional face to the world, he thinks he can choose how it looks.
I also bought a pattern and material for my NYE costume, hope to get that underway this week. And I bought a medical corset on the weekend. Whoo.

I just got the most amazing script!
Don't worry Luke, I'm gonna do my best to work on all of these projects concurrently.

Well if you're not drowning in work then it's not enough - heh let me know if/when you're looking for more, I've got a script I'm working that might well suit your style.

Another week has passed already? Holy shit. Time is out of joint.
This week's creative endeavours were:
- I wrote 18,000 words and finished and edited my novel. Which still doesn't have a title.
- I wrote the script for the first (maybe first and second) issue of my comic project with Grug. If I can tease it a bit the title of our project is Glorious Bounty.
- I coloured a couple of pages of Bunnies That Hate. I would eventually like to have colour versions of all of my comics up my sleeve. I will add to this gradually.
- I didn't get to do a photo shoot this week, which sucks, but I did spend some time going through a lot of older photography and retouching, re balancing them on my laptop (which has a far more accurate monitor than my old computer) and I sent fifty of them off to get digital prints. I'm hoping to put more of a portfolio together.
- I'm starting to get my advent calendar project together for Suzanne. I'm hoping there'll be some creative elements to that.

I have only four more pages of Sketchies to go, and then I can begin work on these big comic projects! I am so excited!
I hope my new A3 scanner shows up soon!

I finally got our arts venue up and running (not in full form though, maybe about 50% of where we want it to be). We had a our first show on Friday night, and my band played as well. There were 39 people in attendance which is only 11 short of our cutoff. So it went very well.
I also worked on a few new card game ideas, made a quick animated video, and wrote a little bit for Nano (at which I failed miserably). Onto next week!
