I think it would need its own dedicated site probably. Something set up to effectively handle comics would be best. There can always be links to here.

We're starting to actively work on setting up greymattersplat as it's own website. I bet I can set you up with my web guy if you want. He's a coldfusion programmer, and while he's not a graphic designer, if you can tell him what you want, he can make it dance. (I'd be willing to host it at GMS too, but like I said, we're still working on the site, and aren't anywhere near launch)
Then you could set up the "official" forum for the comic here at NWWBW.

I'm scanning a new practice page right now. I don't think it's quite as nice as the one before it, but it's OK.

Well partly they cover my asshole for the daily grind competition: www.crowncommission.com/dailygrind/This is why I have posted a daily comic for nearly four years. Also, it lets me just practice drawing the characters. As you get to know them, (as an artist) you get a better idea of them. Like I can pose them more easily (less woodenly) and I can "see" them in 3d better. Plus Luke can see what I'm doing right or wrong. With the actual book, I'm going to pencil the whole thing as per Luke's script, but then he's going to refine the dialogue according to the way I draw the characters and scenes. That's why I haven't launched into the "real" pages yet. (I was going to spend today thumbnailing, but then I remembered I have to finish my secret santa art exchange thing for another board I frequent.) Oh, and removing the blue is just a matter of using the magic wand tool in photoshop and selecting it all (turn off "contiguous") and hit delete. That's why I pencil with blue lead, that way I don't have to erase at all. (One of the single worst things about drawing comics. )

Awesome. I get super excited now when I see you've posted in this thread. Good to see Bruce in action too, albeit in a rare moment of serenity/triumph. This will be fun to colour too. I should get a chance to try that soon.
I love Bruce's design. One thing I wonder though is if his face scars should be subdued. Like maybe he should have just a clean dotted line around the face (cut along the dotted line, remove face, replace). I'm worried that in black and white it will look too much like sideburns (even though I love sideburns). But maybe an even line all the way around.
See Mike (Colossal Cockhole)? I guess that's another reason for practice pages. Also, from my perspective there are a lot of guys out there who can draw awesome poses (big muscled 90's looking superheroes grimacing at the camera) but can't make those characters act for shit. I'm far more interested in the performance of the characters and the storytelling so this is a pretty nice way to get a feel for how it might flow rather than discovering it half way through the actual book.
This is good stuff.

Yeah, I can totally see that, Luke. I'll give the dotted line a go next time!

That looks great. I'm really excited for this.
The background characters in that scene are pretty awesome too.
