First full week of the new year. Anybody accomplish anything creative? Or are you still in the holiday slump?

I have started to get back into things. Grug sent me the first two inked pages of Glorious Bounty and I coloured the first one. I also had a meeting for my monologue and handed over the rehearsal script. I also spent a day working on my grandfather's book.
And I applied for a job I really want, but I guess that one doesn't actually count.

My "creative" stuff has been much more subtle thus far...which is why I don't usually post in this part. It amazes me the stuff you guys are able to accomplish in a week's time while still doing work and relationships and all that jazz.
But, behind the scenes production for GMS to have a real site attached to it is moving right along. We're designing the main page, and figuring out the layouts from there. Working up content. We've even worked out to host a webcomic, done by some of our guys...but that won't go up until they've got at least a dozen "in the can", as they'll go one a week. We've got some really keen ideas for videos that we're looking into setting up, including one that I'm particularly proud of, but is going to take a lot of work...and felt.
Long story, short, we're moving right along. Go us. I still wish I was half as good at this crap as you guys.

Mike, you know that Luke and I are currently unemployed, J is a pimp, and Grug is a robot (Sex-o-matic 4500 to be exact). Suzanne is the only one who actually has a job, and she supports all of us.
On that note, I moved a couch into my house after 3 beers at 11:45 at night. It was a very good plan. there were maps and schematics drawn. and then my hand got stuck between the couch and the wall. strangely, this is actually the second time that this exact senario has taken place. I'll share pictures tomorrow.

Oh hai. I hid behind the curtains in my lounge room all this week hoping the fact that I have to go back to work on Monday would go away. It was not a great plan. But now I have a new project, pimped out in the Pimping forum. Also, my New Years Resolution is coming along nicely. And I made a flourless chocolate cake. It was delicious. |

I'd like to finish a page of Gingerbread Houses and a page of Glorious Bounty today too... |

I accomplished a little this week. Starting to figure out our new band a little. Thinking about direction, etc. Worked a bit on a few card games, but not enough to show anything yet. Almost though. And a few other odds and ends. Tonight I'm going to have a family nerf gun battle. I can't wait. Luke and I are really happy with these Glorious Bounty pages you guys ain't seeing yet! Yeah... when are we going to get to see some of the goods? |

I think it better to create an entire saga and world mythos around them but never share a single drawing, but feeding us local reviews of the work that will constantly be receiving critical acclaim. It'll make it that more exciting.

In between battling and snacking, we managed to make a video tonight. It may be the stupidest video yet, but it was damn fun.
I'm "Kid Poison". Fellow board member Set Prower is "The Devil's Aim". And non-posting board members cctagmire and georgetagmire are also there. The best part (the actual battle) wasn't seen on video because the lights were out.
