OK, so one thing I have to draw this week is a poster for that band I do all of that work for.
The tour is called the "Sea Legs Eleven Winter Tour."
I did draw a thing, but am not having much luck in colouring it (I am restricted to only two colours) and might have to draw a new thing?
Thinking on it...

Man, where the heck did last week go?
Well, last week I made some more illustration pitches (found out today that I didn't get the job though which I'm not surprised about). Also did some more more logo concepts which I still have more to hear back about. Oh, and I did some work for the Chamber of Commerce.
This week, well, I have some freelance InDesign work coming up, starting from today (well, I guess tonight as the people are in the US so I have to wait for their working day to start).
Also decided to apply for a couple of casual/part time jobs. I figure having something like that supplying a steady source of income would be good while working on my own stuff. Also need something like that for when I head back to school in July to help pull in the extra $$$. And that's what it's all about, innit?
So... supanova in July... anyone doing anything for it?

Did anyone ever get together and do some sort of anthology for last year? I think I remember Luke mentioning it in the facebook group or something.

Yeah, as if the other guys draw comics more than once a year.

Oh, and I inked almost a whole page of Glorious Bounty last night. I will most likely finish it tonight, although I gotta get that poster done...

I started work last week, so haven't really had time to be creative for creativitys sake, but I've been productive for a change, so thats nice.
Still working this week, though its mostly looking like trying to figure out financial stuff for programs since the guy who was in the position prior to me wasn't exactly honest when it came to the numbers, so I have to do some detective work on it. Also need to find a facility to rent for summer camp programs, which is a bit different than previously, since camp is not a major priority for this job.
Also, bought a xbox 360, and it should arrive tomorrow, so that should nix any chance for getting things accomplished for a bit.

I thought I had posted this here, but it seems to have disappeared. Here's the illustration for the poster I've been working on:

That's going to be an awesome poster. I've had a busy week. Somewhat creative, and lots of running around. Finishing the outside of our Theater Room. I bought this fake brick paneling and it's the coolest thing ever. I need to cut it and install it this weekend. Then I'll show some pictures. Here's one without the paneling. I had a screening of The Warriors last night. I totally forgot how great that movie is... it's all one liners. No actual conversation. I started writing a little too, but it was just a few sentences. I had an idea and didn't want to lose it for when I actually have some time to write.

I um... well, I sort of... I didn't accomplish anything creative sadly. I have just been too tired and distracted and the days get away from me. Surrendered most of my free nights to gaming, particularly COD4 all weekend. Which is sociable, right, because I played with people I know. So I'm not a loser. Right? Right?

I did some concepts for what I think I want my web comic to look like. It's done by working from photo references (in this case, myself, and since this is one of the two characters, likely will continue like that) and then stylising them a bit. I don't know if it'll work yet but I'm gonna play with it a bit more this week. Especially with the idea I have for the Weekly Challenge.
