Rules as per the last one: noweekwillbewasted.proboards.com/index.cgi?board=group&action=display&thread=126• We're going to start doing a weekly challenge that will revolve around a theme/word. • This challenge can be done in any medium you see fit (comic, painting, photography, short story, lego.. anything that strikes your fancy). • During the week, people are encouraged to post their progress (not necessary, but it may help to motivate people who are lagging/haven't decided if they'll join in. Also, it provides a means for feedback if you're feeling stumped/unsure of where to go with your work). • During the week, people are also encouraged to contribute their word/theme for the following week. On Saturday, someone (I would say me, but what if I'm away for the weekend?) will start a thread for the following week containing the list of suggestions. We choose the one we want on Sunday evening at 9 Perth time. • Also on Sunday we post whatever we came up with, receive kudos from everyone, and we start on the next one on Monday. Themes/words so far suggested (I will add more as they are supplied, or if you do not have one of your own, throw a vote in for one listed): • Reptile (changed it from Lizard to broaden it a bit) • MomentumThe winner is Reptile (seeing as to how Suzanne was going to recommend Serpintine_. Have fun all.

I was going to add Serpentine but it's remarkably similar, isn't it? Crazy. And how about this one: Momentum.
Personally I have no idea what I'm going to do, but I'll enjoy finding out.

Hrm, haven't had much feedback in this one, hopefully people haven't lost too much interest in this sort of stuff. Regardless, I'll keep going, I like having a set goal.

I'm all wrapped up in create-a-holiday land at the moment, but I do encourage you to keep up with this and share it, and anyone else who's keen to do the same. I think what I like about NWWBW is that it encourages you to do things, and shows interest when you do, but at the same time, if you can't partake in a challenge that's okay too, it's all sort of there for those who want it on a take it or leave it basis. Usually if one or two people start it off others will follow anyway. Or will be inspired to do something else. It all helps.

This has been really good for me, and whilst I did drop the ball this week - I'm certainly still working with it. There will be an occasional week where things don't come together. The Serpentine/Reptile thing has kept with me and is kind of working its way into my script frenzy, so it ain't wasted.
And how is your ScriptFrenzy/Webcomic coming?

Well I had some fun with this. I've decided to try out some colouring techniques (that I didn't get done in my one last week). It's not perfect, but I'm liking the texture effect a lot more then what I used to do.
