That part about the 60 per cent increase is really, really interesting. I might give it a shot. I'd be hesitant to put everything up though, maybe just the first episode, but the printed copy has definitely gotta have some element of 'not seen online!' to it. Cool.

Well, my buddy is doing something like this with his book. It didn't sell as well as he had hoped, so he's started release it in parts online for free to drum up interest. I really should find out how that's going for him.
As for myself, I decided on making a difference between the two editions. The current copy of Ka-Dugn on my site has solid tones used. Since I'm getting it printed I'm re-working it, and adding actual shading and so forth. Trying to add a bit more depth, texture and so forth. So the basic version will be available to everyone for free, and the nicer one will be for sale to anyone wanting a copy. I'm considering doing the same thing with my original book as it is almost out of copies. So I've been been thinking about reworking quite a bit of it. There were aspects I wasn't too happy about when I saw the printed version (some thin lines didn't turn out too well and there were some typos caused by my sleep depravation), so I'm thinking about fixing it up, marking it as a second run, and putting that in stores. I'll leave the original PDF up on the site for people for free, so yeah, I'll see how that goes. I am considering putting up some pages so people can see what the newer versions look like.
