I'm going to be posting some cartoons on wildparticle.com
I drew a handful of them a few years ago, and I found it extremely liberating.
The thing is, I am such an irrevocably shit drawer that it was a tremendous relief to be working on something that I knew would be shoddy. Unlike things I've written, plays I've directed, films I've made, when it was/is reasonable to aim for some kind of quality - with this I knew to begin with that I wasn't going to achieve anything decent. Which was great.
I hope to do some more. Perhaps I can get a piece of that "So-bad-it's-good market" - I hear it is lucrative.
So go look at my work all you talented wielders of pens, pencils, pastels and pixels and quake with humbling fear at the raw spectacle of my complete lack of skill.
