I would like to think that this was an obvious statement of fact for everyone, but sadly its not. I've found myself over the last few years becoming more and more of a fan of good quality microbrews and craft beers. One beer that I had most recently when we went to New York last weekend was Three Philosophers: It's a Belgium style beer with a 9.8% ABV (alcohol by volume. Budweiser is 4.0% in the US by comparison) with a strong fruit flavoring to it. Its definitely an acquired taste if you've never had one, but it was one of the best beers i've had in a while, and i've been looking for it locally ever since. On a similar but different note, some friends are coming out to NH in February to go to a tapping party for Portsmouth Brewerys imperial stout, if anyones interested in joining. Anyone else like micro and craft beers?

I have been known to enjoy a good beard. Only occasionally.

mmmm...beer. I love good beer, mediocre beer, terrible beer (if it's free)...whatever you got. Actually, I do like some of the microbeers we get up here BUT others are terrible....AND since I usually only end up trying them at beerfest I'm usually to drunk to remember the names of them when the night is through. So mostly I just buy Keiths. Haha 4.0%....I think that's about the volume of alcohol we have in our drinking water up here

I too enjoy a beerd (I actually like good beer too - we have some excellent micro-brewery beers here if you ever end up in Perth, also you should look out for the James Squire range of beers especially the Porter)
