So, like, what were your favourite things of 2008? (Mine aren't in any order, they're just the things I liked)

Graphic Novels
I read very few current graphic novels this year, to be honest. I spent a large portion of the year reading nothing by classic comic strips (Gasoline Alley, Popeye, Krazy Kat etc). I also have two books on order which are on a lot of people's lists (Slow Storm and Alan's War) which are both published by my favourite company, so I'm pretty sure one or both will also make my list.

Movies
My list is mostly mainstream blockbusters or the big-dumb comedies this year. I think all three of the comic book movies on my list are the best ever made and it was just a good year for the mainstream stuff, I guess.

Man, I did NOT think i would ever put Weezer on a list that wasn't "Top Ten Things That I Used to Care About But Really Don't Anymore." To be honest the last three haven't grabbed me all that hard yet...

Video Games
De Blob is one of the best games I have EVER played. I only have two complaints about it, 1) That you can't save progress as you go, you have to finish a level first, so, if you want to do it properly, you need to put aside about an hour and a half (which is time I rarely can give to video games all at once) 2) Jumping should be a button not a "waggle." There are a few newish games that I haven't gotten to that look like my kinda games too.

Movies
I only saw one movie in the theater in 2008 and that was Star Wars: Clone Wars. It was fun, but I was crazy tired and fell asleep a few times. I caught a few awesome new movies on DVD though.

It's funny because I only own 2 of the games on my list. 3 are downloadable games that I replayed the demos/games over and over at my house and at friends. One is a DS game that I played a few times at work. And the two that I do own... one I haven't paid my monthly subscription in months and the other I picked up the minute the store opened on release day.
