The last couple of threads have been not-too-popular.
alt-tab and post that you're playing Warcraft everybody!
I have drawn four comic covers this week, and I plan to do one more so that I have posted one a day in my LJ.
I also did a couple of pages of Gingerbread Houses and one of Love Puppets, and I am starting another Love Puppets page right now.
How 'bout you folks?

Not playing Warcraft. Working my asshole off though. Trying to fill every little 15 minute gap I can find, and definitely wearing down.
But I did find time to do a little painting last night. I'm painting one of my Nerf guns. I painted one before and it turned out great, which is surprising because I'm horrible with a paintbrush.... but the results are awesome. I'll definitely take some pictures.
I also have a few creative goals this week. Write some songs, finish a picture book, some card games, etc... I'd love to actually get to them.

It's been 43 degrees here for the past two days, and looking the same for tomorrow. I am hiding from the HORRIBLE, HORRIBLE heat.

I confess - I was playing Warcraft. Well a little bit. That and Burnout Paradise - I really need to cap some screens from the game for Owen - most awesome car crashes ever! I did go check out Oxford St Markets as a possible venue to sell some comics, but it's mostly clothing so I doubt that would work. So not completely without some creative effort.

...ooh and I did some character research for Owen too (go go google image search!)... trying the approach of using actors for models for the main characters... so I've got High Jackman as Owen, Natalie Portman as Sofia, Michelle Williams as Sofia, Gedeon Bukhard (the guy from the second season of Inspector Rex) as Gunther, Konstantin Khabensky (Nightwatch/Daywatch) as Vassily, and Jean Reno as Dumont. As I'll be refinishing book 1 for the TPB - I'll try to retroactively apply the new looks, though the very first drawings of Owen were based on Hugh Jackman anyway. Gunther & Natasha were originally based on fashion models, but sadly I've lost the Myer/Gazman catalogues I got them from! So not a total write-off!
