Hmm. I have a collection of recipes that I'm going to transcribe and transfer into one of my many beautiful, untouched notebooks in the hope that this will inspire me to cook. But man, I just love thinking about all that wonderful food. Mmmm. hungry. My focus this week is going to be refining a concept I have for a possible project which will probably involve funding, and therefore needs research. I'm not going to go into details because Its all very unclear in my mind as yet.

Well, I think i am going to try to start to put together a Deadlands campaign to play with my group once we finish our current one. Also going to try and edit some pictures we took this weekend in hopes that at least one of them will meet my needs (save the date cards, exciting stuff). I never got around to making those seven pies, so this may be a good time as any to try again. I Also have an interview this week with a teen center, so that looks pretty promising. Similar to what I used to do in my previous job, just with older youth. That should be a good start.

also, I forgot that I am going to be carving some rubber stamps this week, so that will take a while.

Have you ever carved rubber stamps before? I've always thought about it, but didn't know where to start.

Jessica carved a fantastic stamp out of an eraser and used them to decorate paper bags, business cards, envelopes etc.
Maybe she can give some advice? (She loves to give advice)

I got into doing it a few years back when Becca and I got into letterboxing and I started making my own boxes. I have some photos of them around here somewhere. I'll find them and start a thread about it with them.

I am attempting to learn to ink better with a brush. My journal comics are kinda fast pieces, for a "real" project I would probably work with both a brush and a rotering pen for detail. This comic features bad caricatures of Luke and Suzanne (as well as Jessica and myself): I am also sketching with brush rather than pencil a lot these days. I think I'm getting better.

Yes it was! (well, the bird part of it, she has a cool letter stamp kit that she used for the name)

Finally I make it into a Grug diary comic! I thought I was going to have to stalk you or something. I look super shifty too.
I really like this comic except you should have drawn all the hilarious things I did like... damn.
The brush work looks great though. I'm a big fan of the style here. You should definitely employ it more.

I'm totally psyched to be immortalized thus. I also like that, like real life, that guy looks about ten.
